2026Teens in HealthIntern · youth health advocacyAdvocacy

I collaborated on youth mental-health initiatives, co-managed an educational Instagram, helped organize nationwide essay and art competitions, and coordinated a cross-school pen pal program connecting middle-school students with high-school mentors. I continued the initiative independently after the internship.

2024–2026Mind4YouthIntern · marketing & outreachCommunity

My work included the campus Choose Kindness Festival and mental-health outreach. I was invited to continue in a second internship role focused on marketing, contributing to youth engagement campaigns, outreach strategy, and social media.

2025–2026QuabbleIntern · wellness app researchDesign & research

I directed a team of interns researching an app feature for wellness and social connection. We brought together competitor analysis, user insights, and team discussions, then developed recommendations presented to the CEO. I also produced reports and facilitated meetings.

2026Stanford CNV-XIntern · Nexa team projectAccessibility

I worked with a team to identify gaps in autism support and develop the Nexa platform and AAC concepts. The project pushed me to think about how a tool could respond to a family’s specific needs rather than simply collect more information.

2026–2027Youth Mental Health AcademyChild Mind Institute · intern & capstone researcherMental health

My secondary-research capstone examines selective mutism and the role of early intervention, family, and school environments. The program also includes case-based learning about mental-health conditions and public-facing advocacy for safer, more supportive digital spaces.

This is student research and education, not clinical practice.

2023–2026NOVAS · Torrance MemorialVolunteer & Blue Jacket memberService

I helped create activity kits for hospitalized children, supported fundraising, made snacks and kindness cards for staff, and decorated for the holidays. I completed Psychological First Aid and CPR training.

My NOVAS work received a Silver Medallion in 2024 and a Bronze Medallion in 2025.

Since 2023Junior Leadership ProgramJunior fencing coachCoaching

I teach footwork and techniques, lead warm-ups, and help younger athletes build confidence and sportsmanship. Breathing exercises and support before competition are part of the work too. Fencing taught me to notice the person behind the performance.

My own competitive fencing experience began in 2021 at South Bay Fencing Academy.

Since 2023Red CrossMember · blood drives & local serviceService

I have supported blood-drive recruitment, fundraising, and local volunteer opportunities. It is another setting where a small, practical action can help address a need in the community.
